In the spirit of the Toynbee tiles, robotic stick figures, words and phrases began to appear in the streets of Philadelphia in the late 2000s. Lasting a year and half on average, most have succumbed to the ravages of human and mother nature. They live on through this online gallery and those of like-minded Flickr users. Many of these will be shown at the Satellite Café though August 2012.
